Heres an awesome Deathknight bug.

Once you get lots of runic power, and runic strike procs, press it, but before you hit with it, dump ALL your runic power on DeathCoil, so theres no runic power left for runic strike, but since its pressed down when you had runic power for it, you will still cast runic strike even with 0 RP.

And no, it doesnt take the RP immediatly when you press it.

If that doesnt make sense, tell me, and ill make it clearer.

I forgot to mention, after you dump all your runic power, dont move, just wait for the next atack.

This doesn't work for me. It'll queue the ability, but doesn't actually perform the Rune Strike. If you can provide a combat log or WWS report, that would be great.

Rune Strike is an ability that works "on next melee strike" ability. If you don't have the runic power for the ability (even if queued) it will use a standard attack instead of Rune Strike.

*no it doesnt do a normal strike... atleast I hope not because I just crit for 4900 using same technique but instead I never used any runic power for rune strike but instead for death coil

It still works for me, every time on my 70 DK, I use all the runic power for death coil, 0 runic power, next melee does 2.5k+ as lvl 70.

This is full of fail, the instant you press Runic Strike, it deducts the Runic Power needed, and will therefore use the attack on the next melee swing. It does NOT work like a warrior's heroic strke. This is no exploit.

It DOES deduct the runic power required to perform rune strike at the moment you press the skill. Working as intended, not an exploit.

As the two posters above me said. The second you press Rune Strike it takes the 20 runic power and queues the Rune strike for next melee. It doesn't work like heroic strike
