Tiny priest exploit (inner Focus)

I've searched for anything which has Inner focus, and nothing has turned up, so here it is.

When Mind Sear is used with inner focus, The mana cost is reduced 100% and it gains a 25% crit chance per tick. This part is intentional. Now for the little bug, The first time you use mind sear, it isn't consumed, not sure how many times you can use it, but I've had a free 25% crit mind sear 3 times in a row before. Just cast it as normally and let it channel, near the end (1 second remaining) recast it.

Tl;Dr for those who want this in steps

Step 1: Cast Inner Focus
Step 2: Cast Mind sear, let channel until 1 sec remaining
Step 3: Recast Mind sear
Repeat.

The skills used are (If you really need this >_>) Mind sear, Level 75 Trainable shadow ability for priests

i can get 2 spells off but after that the inner focus buff is used.

works with mind flay aswell and penance i would assume. all are channeled.

so you can get 2 800 mana mind sears off at 0 cost. saves 1600 mana. still handy but not as cool as the op makes it sound :P

Yeah, It's not -REALLY- useful, but it does help for mana conservation. But you also forgot the part where Inner Focus adds a 25% critical strike rating to any spell you use it on. So if it's a huge AoE pull, it will indeed increase your damage and save you mana. Useful for bosses and the like :P

how it works: Since many channeled spells 'refresh' instead of being reinitialized the actual trigger for inner focus to wear off won't take effect as long a you have no pauses between the channeled spellcasts. This works basically with any channeled spell not being counted as 1tick=1spell. Might even work with SW:P for it refreshed regularly but never ever recast during an entire fight... welll that would be some other exploit then, right?
