Another nifty trick of the same manner involves using the Wyrmrest Temple rested bonus you get to obtain 6-7k experience from killing Iceshatter. I found that to be fairly profitable in terms of experience, albeit mindlessly dull. Essentially you run back to the temple after each kill, which gives you enough of a rested bonus to kill again. At the same time, you can camp that temple overnight and come back to kill him multiple times.

This topic just made me think of it, so I posted, hope this helps alongside your advice.
He's an almost immediate respawn as well. Forgot to add that.

i noticed alot of stuff respawns quick in this expansion btw ... like that Magnataur in the cave at bottom by gnome quest giver, where all the fire kobolds are inside and outside ... Magnataur at bottom by pool respawns quick, and many others

How do you figure>>> quests on average give anywhere from 40k-45k experience and a quest takes what between 5-10 min that's roughly 350k-480k per hour.

Yeah, I've noticed that a lot of mobs/elites in Northrend are on insanely fast respawn timers.

If you could kill the same mob over and over for an entire level in Northrend, you're pretty much braindead.

there are numerous mobs that spawn instantly, but only a few times.
i managed to kill 3-4 of the anub'ar "queen" in gjalerbron in howling fjord, but when i moved her out of the spot where she spawned, she didn't spawn again.
