Faster run speed while dead. [Rogues, maaaybe druids]

I was screwing around on my rogue, and found an interesting exploit as I died by a mob of mobs. While running away, I hit sprint (with around 200 health remaining), and died shortly thereafter. While running back to my body as a ghost, I found that I was running faster than usual, even faster than my NE in spirit form (rogue is a human if that may make a difference). I do not know if this will also work for a druid's dash, as you shapeshift out when you die...

Unfortunately, it does not show as a buff while dead, it's something that you have to deduce visually as you run. Sadly, this also means that screenshots are useless. Sorry, those of you that need a screenshot before giving it a shot.

Not sure if you know this, but they bumped up the running speed when you're dead another 25%, so instead of running 125%, you now run 150%, so that is probably what made you think you were sprinting, as it is much faster than before.

You can find out for sure if you have any increased speed if you have Carbonite ( carboniteaddon.com/ ). It shows your movement speed on it's zone map.

Fail? I think not. Coming back from a couple week hiatus just yesterday, it's natural that I would not be aware of such changes. Especially when one doesn't allow himself to die, except while careless.

As far as I know, there's no addon that actually detect player's running speed. It just detect your status(swim, dead, flying, etc), buff, equipment, enchant, gem bonus and display the number for you, so if something really bugged, it won't change anything that display on those addons at all.
