He's intended to be soloable if you aren't a moron. You can just as easily throw bombs on him from the ground and avoid his bombs/adds.

also, this was never a group quest. and never a difficult quest since you can simply run in and out to throw your bombs

dont +rep him this is not even an exploit, its a mob and we can kill it.. ive been using him to level my ranged skills on every char i had & as a hunter when i switched to a crossbow i killed him like 2 times before i get the last point

... is this a joke? Seriously? Dr. Boom is not and never has been a group quest. You are supposed to be at the front opening, and you dodge the bombs while throwing your own, its an easy fun quest and this isnt an exploit at all....
