There has been a bug the last 2 patches where hunters pets will randomly become giant. It's a known bug and it's client side. They will also take on their original name before they were tamed. If you relog I'm sure the pet would be back to normal. Just a glitch but funny none the less. A few days ago my crab was about the size of the Orgrimmar bank.

This happens to most hunters when they tame exotic beats, but after a relogg/zoning, it's all back to normal.

Its a server side glitch with not completely registering the pet is tamed when it's summoned not client side. the hunter only knows their pet is huge because someone tells them ive yet to see a ss from a hunter when his pet was big. To fix it just dismiss/mount and bring your pet back out.

This happens alot on the isle when someone dismounts on the boat to hand in the murloc quest. Not sure that getting on that boat dismounts you anymore, but yeah...client side glitch. Also Devilsaurs have a Monstrous Bite(?) ability that increases their size when they use it so there may be a bug with that too. /shrug
