[Possible Exploit] Avoiding Shadowflame completely on Neferian.

Well anyhow I was on my 60 paladin running BWL for achievement, and we started Neferian encounter. Everyone started running just behind Nef's throne to completely avoid effects from shadowflame(opening move used by him in second phase to basically kill all without Ony's Scale Cloak). The basic concept is if you are right behind his throne you will avoid it. You should just stay there for duration of encoutner and let drakanoids come to you. I know this may be common knowledge, but many people, such as me (shadowflame hurts, alot!) wanting to clear Neferian for Ashkandi and Judgement chest didn't know this. I will post screenshots later today when I run BWL after servs come back up. Happy farming!

Yeah the reason this isn't on the website anymore is because no one seriously raids bwl anymore. I'm sure back in the day this was posted almost everyday. Also I haven't meet anyone yet in a raiding guild who didn't know of this.

Most people today don't know stuff like this. Now that people raid bwl for achievement, I thought this would be useful information.

I think this is in most guides for the encounter. You can also hide in the caves where there drakonoids comes from.

Ehm, you can just line of sight it like almost all abilities in the game. Will you make a separate post for every ability that can be line of sighted and post it as an exploit?

PRE-TBC common knowledge and not an exploit, blizzard knows about it.
