As lvl 70 u can easily sneak all the way to the fat guys infron of the slaughter house, kill 3-4 of them, run up to the door and continue bugging, i guess most classes with some epics can solo him aswell! gl!

I usually have trouble with getting this sort of thing working, but i can do this about 95% of the time first go. It's very useful but could throw you open to investigate if they see you a lot in here or people report you for doing it too fast. I'm sure the GMs could just check to see if the previous bosses were alive when you did Baron. Although I would guess if you just did it occasionally to farm a little and was careful you won't get caught.

As for a Mage solo'ing Baron I find it quite easy. I'm full frost (0/0/61) and with the use of water elemental, ice barrier, cold snap and maybe a health pot or 2 just incase health ticks a little low I can get him every time. high Spellpower also helps as the faster you nuke him down the less health you will need

Yea, I believe this just got nerfed with the patch today because I can't do it anymore either.
