Heal people of your own faction to death

It doesn't work - I knew this 2 weeks ago, I tryed and it doesn't do anything but have a negative number.

Oh yes, it does, as i said earlier, "healing" him for negative amounts seem to decrease his hp cap, until he's healed or have eaten, therefore "damaging" him.

Even if it did hurt someone you CAN NOT apply dampen magic to someone that's not in your party.

The target you're healing do not have to be in your group, you can simply find a mage with the buff up.

So lets assume for a second someone in your party goes afk and you have lead.

Your suppose to make it a raid, add a mage if you don't have one already to apply dampen magic every 10 min. Then find 10-20 healers to rank 1 heal him to death over the course of maybe 30+ minutes? (Oh wait, you DC automatically at 30 min, doh!)


I'd rather just have a hunter kite something from SMV to shatt (or wherever he may be) and MD it to him, Whatever tickles your fancy though.

Yes, you could have a difficult time killing someone from 100%, but it's not impossible.

On a side note, those are S1 shoulders and his dampen magic has been fading for about 4 min in the screenshot.

Those 4 mins where after i had found out, i didn't heal him from the start of the duration.

Anyway, my point in this post was, it might be possible killing a mage who recently lost a duel, and will be down to 1 hp. Anyone tried it yet?

Tested the way he tested and the mages hp did go down posting screenies now.

EDIT: YOU CAN NOT KILL ANYONE, THEY WILL STAY AT 1 HP AND WONT DIE.

Fairly useless tbh. Have to be in your group, or a mage, and you can't kill them.

Sounds like a client side issue caused by the new fast health updates from patch 3.0.*. I'm willing to bet that if you "healed" someone to one health and they took a point of fall damage, they wouldn't die; their health would jump back up to 99%.

I couldn't believe it when I read it.. but found out it didn't work.
Would be really funny, and awesome if it did work.
