    [Rogues] Extra Energy

I have noticed you get extra energy from Expose Armor. I have 2/2 Imp EA and it only costs 15 energy. Combined with overkill it only costs 5 energy, while relentless strikes restores 25. That is a 10-20 energy gain, like an extra renatakis. Also if your EA is missed/dodged/whatever you will gain 20 energy from quick recovery giving you 5 extra energy.

    Working as intended.

Relentless strikes returns 25 energy no matter what the finisher costs. If you had a free finisher, it would grant you 25 energy.

Plus, most people don't use expose armor, unless in pvp situations. :P

Incorrect. Improved Expose armor is more powerful than sunder armor, and is used when non-warriors are tanking.

My guild used a feral druid to main tank, so we had one rogue specced Improved Expose Armor at all times, and kept it up 100% of the fight.

And warriors have an exploit where if they spec into Precision they only have a 12% extra chance to miss with special abilities with Titan's Grip....oh wait.........

You would have to get a combo point first so it isnt really any extra energy, unless you're spec'd into setup and overkill (lol). Not to mention a 1 point EA is pretty much useless.

Assuming you're Mutilate you'd have to open with CS and crit on your first Mutilate to get an EA off before Overkill was over. Quick Recovery only reduces the cost when they fail to hit so unless Relentless triggers on a miss that wouldnt work.

    nou...

both abilities remove 2600 armor... the difference is sunders by a warrior help your tank put up more threat, and is easier to maintain compared to a rogue blowing a 5 CP to put it up... saccing his DPS and tank threat... so

no, most people dont use EA in pve
