Alright I think I got it down just watched some youtube videos. I've just been doing it in WSG though.. and it seems like they have invisible barriers around anything after the first tier of climbing.

Could anyone recommend a good spot to try mess around with this?

Abusing this too much in BGs is just asking for it to get nerfed faster :P

check out stromwind from beneath. I managed to come under it using wallwalking around the hills around stormwind. before you couldnt see much but now you can see everything in stormwind from beneath even stormwind harbour from inside. I also found a way to get to newmans landing by going to the snowy plains behind gnomeragan. they put some npcs there at newman's landing lol.
Next thing I'm gonna try is to get to uninstanced AQ, it was quite cool when i was there as GM on mangos.
Has anyone ever tried to wallwalk all the way up to real Mt.Hyal?

Yeah, i did Mt. Hyjal with WW back in the good old Molten Core days
Start in Winterspring, and you can get above the entrance, somewhere to the south. (:

wallwalking works brilliantly, so far i've managed to get ontop of org & under sw. i'm gonna make a tutorial on how to do it tomorrow.

Hehe tried it out last night, and it works perfectly. even got onto the walls of Stormwind with only 2 or 3 trys

Confirmed to be working in 3.0.2 as of today.

Managed to kill copule level 77-78 mobs.

Title pretty much says it all.
Good old wallwalking from pre-TBC now works!
I saw a post some weeks ago about this working on PTR servers, but I never thought that it would still work when the patch went live.
This is tested and confirmed on the 3.0.2 EU live servers.
I know 90% of the people here knows what wallwalking is so I'm not gonna write a detailed guide on how to do it.
You quite simply walk straight forward on a steep wall without falling down.

Have fun while it lasts.
Im quessing this will be removed pretty quickly.

Noticed this when I ran into the wall, I think its easier than ever, I climb easier when running into things.

I'd appreciate if someone posted a guide on how to do this. And yeah, I did play patch 1.9, but I was a total noob. Please help us out.

Its simple.

1. You must be walking ( you know slow ass walk speed)
2. Walk slowly along a horizontal line of land
3. Use your mouse look to change direction


Step 2 takes a few tries but you notice that if done right you sort of grab the terrain, you must strta on an area thats walkable and not vertically challenged, then you can walk on pure vert.
