Transfer char from BC account to non-BC account *TESTED*

I didn't see this posted yet, but excuse me if it was.

If you have 2 accounts that you own, and you only have BC installed on one of them, you can still transfer the chars. I tried it at first and it will say target account isn't a burning crusade account. But they released a 10 day free trial of burning crusade. Just update your non-BC to the BC trial and it will let you transfer. I didn't try transferring my blood elf, only a troll. I'm thinking you could transfer a blood elf, but I'm not sure if they will disable the blood elf after the 10 day trial or not.

I also only tried this with a char under 60. But it may be possible to transfer the level 70 to the non-BC account as well.

What doesn't work? I did the transfer just yesterday with a level 45 troll. The blood elf might not work but it seems like it should.

pretty sure you won't be able to go into outlands after the 10 days are up.

because -- when your BC is disabled, when u try and get into any outlands or BC expanded part, it won't let u, it'll come up with a message and put u back to where u tried to get into.

How about transferring a 70, on the flying mount, in outland? That could give blizz some problems

will not work, i currently am running a drood on the 10day key and you cant lvl past 60, i am 1 exp pt from 61 and have been that way for 3 days. so i dont think they will allow you to sent a 60+ to an account you cant lvl past 60 on in the first place. just my .02

If you got a BC account, and a non-BC one. You upgrade your non-BC account to a 10 day trial BC account, you transfer your character, fine. But anyway when the trial runs out you are not able to go back, you need to purchase a full BC game on the 10 daytrial account you just made. - Got that impression reading on the 10 day trial BC account site. Correct me if wrong.

what about logging out in outland after the 10 day period, then you are still in outland next login? should work or not?
