[WotLK/PTR?] Stacking warrior weapons for insane damage (9038)

Hello, here I will explain how to get INSANE damage on the 9038 PTR?(not sure) / wotlk beta servers...



First, get an 2h axe, spec up to the point at to which your going to pick up the poleaxe talent in the arms tree, get to an instance. enter the instance.

Spec 1/5 into poleaxe spec.

Equip an 1h axe on.

Spec into 3/5 poleaxe spec.

Equip your 2h axe on and switch back to 1h axe three times, so you do 2h axe > 1h axe > 2h axe > 1h axe > 2h axe > 1h axe etc...

Now, spec into 5/5 poleaxe spec, and swap those two 1h / 2h weapons you have been swapping some more, you should notice when pressing c to view your character, that when you view the melee pane and look at "Damage:", it should go up every time you do an swap.

Walaa! Thats it... after about 50 swaps you could pretty much one shot anything tbh.

If someone could confirm this on the PTR (903, that would be nice ^^

I won't post an exploit on this forum unless i'm 100% sure that at least it will work in one environment (WotLK Beta), so yea, it will work.

I don't want to post any screenshots, even with my name covered up, because I dont know if blizz could still find an way to track that screenshot down to my character, like by actionbar layouts or macro's i have on my screen.

Still would like someone to test this out on the PTR through

That's an shame, I don't see an reason why it would work on the beta but not PTR, they are using the same game code / server code I thinks.

Actually this bug has nothing to do with poleaxe spec, it's 2 handed weapon spec thats causing it. All you need to do is take off your 2h and put it back on. Just repeat this as many times as you want. I'm currently hitting for 100 million.

This works with any class that has a weapon specialization. I know it works with death knights, paladins, hunters, and warriors.

I think the PTR is behind the beta, so the bug might appear there later.

I'm not very good at lua so I am not sure if this will work:
