heroic dungeon without key

searched and found nothing

1. have your dungeon difficulty autoset to heroic every time you log out
2. go into a normal instance with party members, exit out of the game
3. wait 5 minutes and log back on and the dungeon should be set to heroic

edit: make sure the party leaves too

Well, it sounds reasonable acctually. However i'm afraid i have no toon that haven't got all dungeon keys so i can therefore not test this

Hmm.. If I remember right I tested this once, it just got me DC:ed and got to my hearthstone place, but not sure...

i have no idea since i allready got all the heroic keys, but my mate claims he could buy one of the keys when he was 800 rep short of honored... but the key still said requires honored.. dunno if they changed the requirement but not the tooltip text.. or if my mate is a big fat liar xD

you dont log out, you "DC" from the game, you dont get hearthed you just get ported to the beginning of the instance with it reset on heroic.

It doesn't work, because with this logic you could do normal instances on heroic. An example, I ( like everyone ) has been doing the Brewfest boss, I log out in the instance, log back in later and I am the start with it on heroic, but I am in BRD, unless they added heroic BRD..

Your logic is flawed.

You either log out and zone out of the instance out of party when you log back in...

OR.....

You DC/Alt-f4 and you are still in the party, so you will still be in the regular instance.

I don't think this ever worked. I tried it, no success. Plus, I have never heard of anyone doing it.
