Swimming in the air, mob killing!

Hi there, you all have probably heard of the swimming in the air exploit in outlands, if you havent, please search for it in the search bar.

Now! since you are swimming in the air, you can shoot ranged and stuff, and mobs do not evade when you do it! but if you are in the air and shooting them until they die, you wont get any loot, but they will die and despawn quickly.

So heres the tricky part, go DPS ur target how much you want in the air, when they are one hit away from death, go land on the ground and aggro it before it starts evading. the best way is if you land next to it and do 1 spell/hit.

I dont have any SS's atm, but it is not that hard...

I was gonna try it on kazzak or doomwalker, but they both were dead, but both of them can hit ppl in the air, so you wont stand a chance, but i killed a fel reaver this way (it was hard following it while casting frostbolts) but i got it down ^^

But if any1 here has a noob server where no1 does out-door raid bosses, can you please try and confirm if you can or can't kill kazzak/doomwalker.

hehe, you were just too slow with the how to loot thing, I posted it yesterday, but + rep anyway

It IS possible to dual Doomwalker, you need a healer to heal you through the Earthquake AoE, as it only does 8K damage over 8 seconds, which can easily be healed through. I have not tried Kazzak though, he was dead when I was investigating

To loot the mob you're killing and get credit for the kill, land shortly before it dies and hit it with the killing blow while your WHOLE GROUP is on the ground; if one is in the air it won't be lootable

Tried kazzak using this method the other day, got my first shot off then the next thing i knew i dead :S and thats with a hunters +range talent maxed out..

I bet someone could probably find a way, oh well

hmm, I think thats because Kazzak has a larger short range or something, he is a very 'different' raid encounter normally

But Doomwalker is much simpler, at least from what i've seen

What boss shanaar ? I tryed to kill doomwalker with 5 but aint working.
cuz he keeps moving and when we are oom or no1 attacks anymore for like 5sec he just resets again and have to start over :/

The boss was the Pit Lord outside the Dark Portal

And keeping Doomwalker active is an art... keep practicing and you'll get there
