RAF nerf coming soon!

Once again. This is not an exploit. Therefore it can not get nerfed.

That simply wasn't intended, Skids. We stated that was indeed how it functioned at the time that this qualification was made; but the situation was still under examination at the time. The FAQ was updated some time ago because that functionality was found, upon further testing by our QA department, to be an unintended effect.

It's best to keep in mind that the RAF system is intended to allow two players of similar level to both level rapidly and experience the content together. It certainly wasn't on our agenda to 'flip-flop' - we were only reporting on what was occurring at the time. I'm sorry you're upset, but even then, the RAF system wasn't really supposed to be a way for a level 70 character to rapidly power level two lower level characters through content.

It's still very effective and useful though, even with only two characters of equivalent level exploring content together, and I hope that you continue to take advantage of the bonuses it provides.

Well it was a nice idea in theory, seeing as now-a-days if you don't have a 70, it's probably because you either level REALLY slow, or you're not even playing the game.

But like most of the things in blizzard that aren't play tested, it was easy to abuse.

That's some stupid logic you have there.

So when a spell is announced to get nerfed in a later patch, using your logic, you're exploiting every time you use it before it gets patched, because they didn't want it to be so powerful.

Edit: Bah, kurios, i'm tempted to edit this. But seeing as you can probably see what i had it prior edit in the first place, bah ^^

Blizzard is saying its an exploit because it isnt working as intended but they say you can still use it because the GMs told players that questioned it when it first came out that it was ment to do this.

It seems people aren't really understanding what the guy is saying. When you group up the alt with a 70 and run him through dungeons the alt is not supposed to get 3x xp, thats what this guy is saying. Thanks for the heads up +Rep
