A very easy way to level up your weapon skill

Another spot that I've used was the air guy, granted I aggro'd a mob like once every 6-7 minutes, but there is possibly a spot where the mobs come no where near you so you can wail away on him.

Could be a repost, but I don't think so.

Basically you go to the Dead Scar on the Isle of Quel'Danas (the place where you do the Daily bombing run). The mobs you're looking for here are called Frenzied Ghouls. What's unique about these mobs is that they're just supposed to act as scenery and be in constant combat with the Wrath Enforcers there while you bomb the shit out of them, so naturally Blizzard doesn't want them to kill the Wrath Enforcers too quickly. So what do they do? They lower their damage done immensely. I was getting hit for 2-3 hp as a Rogue with 3000 armor, so if you were wearing anything better, you'd be getting hit for 1 hp.

Coupled with the fact that the K'iru Song of Victory is a passive buff (+79 stamina) and the negliable damage they deal, this is the best place to farm weapon-skill ups in the game. Even as a mediocre geared mail/plate wearer, it would take them oooooover 9000!!!!!!! hits to kill you while you wail on them with a grey [insert weapon type here].


Also, this works doubly awesome as there is a spawn for Adamantite Ore right on the right edge on the Dead Scar that's on a five-six minute timer, so I'm you're a miner, you can essentially camp the node and reap the rewards.

I really think this would be better at the guide section. Since there is no real exploit in this ... It just comes down to " Find mobs that do less damage & Train your weapon skill on it"

good tip. ive also found if u want endless respawning mobs to level weap skill go outside shadow lab where the guys keep spawning from the portal

Well if you can be arsed to sit there you can always use the rats in deeprun tram.

Only downside is they die in 1 hit, but they do have a very fast respawn so you can constantly kill them over & over. Coupled with glider its a breeze.

You can also try going to Netherstorm, over by manaforge ba'nar there is a broken fel reaver with a quest. Start the event, mount up, and hover over the fel reaver until all the spawning adds vanish. one that happens land and beat the living heck out of it ..

Side note. you will level EXTRA fast, because EVERY hit on this thing will be a crit. because it is technically "sitting down"

get a friend or someone who needs sm boost,
get in sm gy,lib,arm,cath and your weap skill will be around 340 and that nob will get xp and some useful items, dont be greedy
i did this with 2h s2 mace and it worked fast/easy with not any eating/drinking

out of the other ways to level weapon skill i found this one the best. Especially now that the Isle is completely empty. No one to bother you or interrupt you because the mob you are killing may be part of a quest.
