When your in the eye of tempest and you get the bow have a hunter make some nether spikes, they ARE NOT bop so you can trade them to another hunter to help dps, very useful.

I can't imagine how doing such little extra damage on a mob for a 25 man instance is useful.

I think he means maybe, that if you do get the bow, say you go do a heroic, or 10 man, the hunter can give the tank the arrows.

It's also helpful if the tank runs out of arrows (which should never happen anyways)

yeah well they only last for 10 min but I mean after the raid when your doing something else like pvp or heroic you can have the plus dmg idk I found it usefull just wanted to share =D

Ok for all the stupid remarks I've seen in this thread let me clear it up. What he is talking about is on the Kael'thas Sunstrider boss fight in The Eye, when a hunter picks up the legendary bow:

He also gets the ability to summon bundles of arrows:


Now he is saying that the hunter who picks up the bow, and there is only one, can summon the extra arrows and pass them out to other hunters for a raid dps bonus because the arrows are not BoP and also don't run out. This is helpful because Kael'thas himself is harder than the first 3-4 bosses of Black Temple and requires any and all help you can get.

This had absolutely nothing to do with heroics so anyone who talked about that stfu and learn about what you are responding to before you flame or make yourself look stupid.

This could seriously help because the hunters in my guild could use this to help us get that sucker down. Also trying to trade this to warriors would be stupid, I agree, because the only hard part about this would be trading in combat, and you don't have time to waste.

Try actually fighting kael once or twice before commenting on something you know nothing about. Every party member can loot every legendary item. Passing out arrows to other hunters is the most pointless thing you could do, as they SHOULD already have the bow, if they don't then they really fail at clicking.
