Paladin Macro Exploit: Avenging Wrath + Diving Shield

I was in a group for Mechanar, and being a Healdin i was back healing. We had another pally in our group that was Ret for some DPS and he started to get beat on by a mob. Couple seconds later i look over and see him with the Avenging Wrath and the Divine shield on at the same time!

A little later i was thinking about it and i relised that since Avenging Wrath doesnt trigger the global cooldown, maybe a macro would do the trick!

/cast Avenging Wrath
/stopcasting
/cast Divine Shield

Because this casts the 2 spells at basically the same time it goes fast enough to go around Forberance! This may only have limited uses, but use it while u can because there are lots of ppl crying about it in WoW General and the pally forums so it will be fixed asap.

(Somehow i know that this will be fixed quick, but I doubt though that they will fix the Shaman purging Divine Shield bug, because everyone hates Paladins Divine Shield =p )

Works wonders, but I think it was using DS rank 1, so

/cast Avenging Wrath
/stopcasting
/cast Divine Shield(rank 2)

You're both wrong, without being a prot paladin you cannot Melee with it on,

and if you are a prot paladin, you attack as normal...

Actually, you are wrong. Go read the tooltip on Divine Shield and it clearly says "Increases time between attacks by 100%" And if u sit there int he bubble with auto-attack on u will hit them, just very spaced out.

Blessing of Protection however u cannot attack. You may be thinking of that.
