(Daily) Maintaining the Sunwell Portal

Searched and can't find any other posts relating to this.

I discovered this by accident when i phased out after collecting the 10 Smuggled Mana Cells and phasing in the middle of 3 mobs.

Sometimes it just takes way too long for the Bash'ir Phasing Device to drop. So what you do is after you collected the 10 required Smuggled Mana Cells, you phase out and fight mobs until *another* Phasing Device drops.

This will stay in your bags, even after handing in your quests and logging off for a couple of days, ready to use on the next daily reset, unlike the keys for Sunwell Isle which stays in your bags for a few hours (even if you take them out of your keybag) and then disappears.

i dunno every time i've got it afterward its been real quick drop like within 5 kills

I have never had to kill more than 5 for it to drop (Always before doing quest). Then again I 2-box and it might have a higher drop rate if there are more people in the group. I dont' know.

I don't see a difference in farming it after doing quest instead of before, the drop rate is still going to be the same.

Bah this is old news.

I currently have a few of them in my bank to use from times I've done the daily with friends. We can all loot the device, but only takes one of us to phase everyone in the party. So I (and others) have a few extras to use for soloing or if we are to lazy to kill the mobs for it.
