Use duration items forever, such as broomstick mount

I've been in this leecher thing for a long time, so now its my turn to give something to this great comunity
- i've searched and i didnt find anything!


As lots of you know there are alot of timed items in this game, alot of items which have about 14 days duration. I want to write this because i saw this threat

Where a guy still have the broomstick mount even though its a long time since it was here, and no one in there knows 100% how he can still have it, well i tell you the secret!

When you have an item and lets say it has 14 days duration, you can send it as an email to ur alt (saying the item is BOE). When it is inside the mailbox the 14 days duration will not tick, and making it stay 14 day duration forever. You can keep sending the email forth and back forever, and you will never loose this item
That means you can save winter items, and use it when its summer etc.

If the item ain't stackable you can wrap it into gift paper, that stops the duration aswell I believe . I used the tip you described at new year's eve with those drinking goblets . +rep.

You might never lose the item BUT if it's a BOE, once you use it you can not mail it anymore and therefore it will disapear in 14 days.

Ye ofc. if you used the item 1st, then it isnt BOE anymore.
But you can use this method to save summer items and sell them in winter for more $$
