Get replacements for dead people during boss fight

seems pretty legit, but I dont think my guild would go thought the hassle to buff up an alt and summon it to the raid, just so theres a small chance I'd die.

Hell what are battle resses for.

This will NOT work.

Raid instances have a limit on the amount of people that can be in them.

When my guild was raiding kara (yea yea we suck) one of our members D/C, we couldnt bring another player in to replace because there was already 10 players in the instances, even though one of them had D/C, and it works the same way for logging out.

The limit is only around how many people are actively in the instance. If someone releases or logs out, they're no longer occupying a slot in the instance. If your logic was true, you could never rep someone out for someone else in a raid and you'd have to run with the same people until it reset. If someone simply D/C'd they may still be in the actual instance with you, they're a ghost player, it happens all the time, the game thinks they're still logged in.
