New dupe *get it while it works*

I was using my firewall to do it lol. I was in a hurry cause I didn't plan to do it on these sets of items. They were just auctions I had running that were about to expire and I just figured what the hell I'll give it a shot. Anyhow I did the "block traffic" thing. Didn't unblock traffic quick enough though =/

Unfortunatly I'm at work for another 5 hrs so all I can do is read the boards Not much testing till I get off. If I have it planned better I'll just load up kazza.. Or start the blizzard downloader going on another comp on my network(that usually eats up plenty).

Yeah I was thinking you could open up a popular Bit Torrent and set it to unlmited upload and wait for it to really get going.. think that would be enough?

Well, I think this one doesn't work, at least not anymore. I ran 3 tests tonight, all set up so they were 5 mins apart. On each test I used a small nether essence as my "timer auction" First one I had bone fragments and when I cancelled um it just gave me the auction cancelled messege. Second one I was trying to dupe small brilliant shards and I got the "item doesn't exist" message. The third time I thought I had it.

I had 5 Large Radiant shards set up on me third run.. I got the "your auction of lesser nether essence has expired message". This time I was trying it with my firewall again. As soon as I got that I blocked all traffic with the firewall. Clicked to cancel each of the 5 radiant shards. Then I unblocked traffic. I got 3 "your auction of large radiant shard has expired" messages and 3 "Auction cancelled messages". At this point I thought I'd finally figured it out. I quickly ran to my mail box to find only 5 large radiant shards

So I'd say I definatly had the timing down, it just doesn't work or if it did work, it's not now.

Anyhow, if someone else had different test resaults I'd love to see it!

Hey everyone i personally think this might work if you get your lag high enough. Timing being the key and being right on the dot too. Ill give this a couple trys tonight i can get my lant upto about 7000 or so easy. Thank good for 4 comps and a lots of friends eat the **** out of the bandwidth ill post tonight or tomorrow and tell you what happend before i get too damn bored and say **** it.

yay i got it to work. just requires canceling right before it expires. (Like 3 seconds from expire for me)

OMG i just duped 6 glowing brightwood staves and now i have 11 im going to keep doing this (i canceled the secand it said glowing brightwood staff acution expired) i was in the AH sitting and waiting for 2 hours

is there any addon or something that u can see how many minutes/seconds there is left on your auctions?

I used it the other day, cba waiting around in IF atm tho but cant see when they should have fixed it

tried it now, didnt work. unless i did something wrong, put 3 different shards on auction for 2 hours and cancelled two of them after the first one expired, got 1expired and 2cancelled in mailbox.
