    [Exploit] [Midsummer Festival] Resummon Ahune

Hey guys, i noticed something when we went to kill Ahune today for the first time and i thought I'd let you know.

So, normally you would clear the instance up to his spawnpoint, summon him, kill him, reset the instance and start anew. By using this exploit, you can summon him in the same instance without resetting/clearing mobs again and you WILL GET LOOT AGAIN.
I myself only tried it in normal, so if someone could confirm this in heroic mode it would be greatly appreciated.

You are supposed to kill him by damaging the Frozen Core in his second phase, but you can still damage him while you're dealing with the adds. It's reduced by a percentage, but just keep this fact in mind.

The trick is to not kill him in his Frozen Core-Phases. Instead, you just damage him down to ~5% and have one or two ranged dds kill him while your tank is collecting the new adds. This way he dies, but the stone ro summon him immediately respawns.

Please excuse any grammatical errors in this post as I'm a german player.

tl;dr: Kill him while he is spawning adds, you can resummon instantly.

Everyone in the party can summon him once, so its 5 kills (or wipes), maybe thats cause you think you can do it again.

    Not sure tho.

Well, I'm pretty sure that it was intended like last years Headless Horseman, you'd have to reset and reclear the instance everytime. After our first kill in heroic, this was the case, so we went to normal and noticed that we could, after we killed him using this method, summon him immediately again in the same ID.

As someone said - It is possible for your party to summon him 5 times without reseting the instance.

He is part of the midsummer fire festival event, much like the Headless Horseman for Halloween.

What if you have all your party members summon him... make another party member leader, then try 5 more times...?

doesnt work like that.. one character can summon him 1 time a day.. so you can do it 5 times in one party, then get new party and do it 4 times.. then get new party and do it 4 times.. and so on.. u get the picture.. as long as u can find new people to summon u can do it.. since im tank and ppl need that, i've done it like 12 times today

ps this whole thread does not belong in exploits.. you do not need to kill him in phase 2.. when on normal u only have to clear once then u can summon him as many times as u got chars who can.. but all who got loot in the chest must take it before u can do it again (ie. all must take the quest item from chest).. u can even invite new people and summon him again without ever resetting.. ofc thrash might respawn eventually

    Well, me again.
As it turns out, i was wrong with my assumption that you would have to reset and reclear the instance for each group member's attempt, like it was with the Headless Horsemen. Probably because of the fact that we couldn't immediately resummon him in heroic and switched to normal combined with our odd kill in normal (popped heroism in first vuln. phase and got him to like 1 or 2%). That got us thinking and had us kill him again with that same tactic, which was obviously uneccessary.

Sorry to waste your time everbody, back to finding more interesting things. =)
