How to keep flying from place to another after logging out.

When you start flying from a place to another place for example from Moonglade to Silithus (what a lovely 15 minutes flight) but you need to go, you can start flying and alt + F4 out of game and your character will keep on flying (yourself you have already shut down WoW) until you go AFK, thats what happened to me a day ago when I was going to sleep I left my character flying from southshore to stormwind and I just alt + F4:d out of game and shut down my computer and found out my character next morning in Stormwind city. Sorry if this has been posted before or something is spelled wrong.

I'd always presumed that this would happen. Ever wonder why you get instant logouts whilst flying? To stop people doing this. When you alt-f4, you close WoW, but not your connection. According to the WoW servers, you're still at your keys and playing. It'll log you out eventually with auto-afk, but that doesn't mean you can't go a long way in that time.

you also lose any changes made to your ui as all saved variables are written when you logout.
