How to change your last name and get a char transfer on somone elses acc

I am going to try this over the weekend, but I am going to try it multiple times, each with a different tactic. Here is what I have thought up so far.

1.) Adoption, you just got adopted, got new parents about 2 weeks ago, and they are requiring (FOR MY SAFETY) that I get the last name changed to my new last name.

2.) I recently got married.

3.) I recently got divorced and need my name changed to my maiden name.


Anyone have more ideas, I am going to keep calling until they change it so...

Can anyone confirm this still works? I was given an empty account by my friend.

To be exact he gave me his account with a 70 Hunter on it, and told me if I gave him the dailies money and let him do kara until the time ran out then transfered the hunter back to his old account for him I could have it. So I leveled my shaman on it. Now my Paladin Is Stuck On My old account that my girlfriend now plays.

I want my paladin off her account and her mage off my account. My paladin is stuck at 62 with 355 engineering because she never lets me play him.

Can anyone confirm whether or not you need marriage licenses etc. Or is it a simple phone call to blizzard tech support.

tried it just now, they ask for First and Last name and email for the account, and then tell you that you need to provide validation for the change, so I guess that email is coming, Ill post if I can find a work around.

The first name on my account is "Joseph". I called in just for the hell of it and said I got a gay marriage and they changed it....no joke.
