Aye, pics please. Still have yet to see confirmation that you can even cast your hearth stone while that tree costume is on. Generally for all other costumes you're stunned or unable to cast spells during the duration.... And if you could, why wouldn't portals with mages work? Either your own teleport or a mage's near you. And like JRa said, warlock summons? instance summons?

TBH I'm skeptical that you can do any of these in the costume, or that the costume stays when you hit the loading screen.

So you most likely were a draenei paladin with their HS at an inn on Azuremyst Isle? Makes sense then since you can use that disguise anywhere in the zone. My guess though is that it will not work if you have to go through a loading screen to a diff zone (capital city). And this would be fairly pointless if only able to be done in the 1 or 2 HS locations on the isle =/

lolwut? Azuremyst is part of azeroth.... And you still get a loading screen even if you hearthed to any other zone in azeroth i'm pretty sure. But most deffinately outlands you would get a loading screen.
