About doing this as a Restoration shaman:
I borrowed my friends shaman and went into Sunken Temple with a friend who played on my toon(mage), his toon(mage) and another friends toon(priest). So in total we were 3 lowbies getting nice exp.
NOTE: We didn't pull the other Boss who is supposed to heal Zolo
First tactic:
- So this shaman has quite nice gear, everything I had to do was to renew that Earth Shield on myself and be ready to heal if necessery.
- One of the lowbies was priest, so we respecced him to Holy Nova (AoE damage without making threat). He was tapping all the targets while the Shaman was tanking them.
- Only problem we had was that Holy Nova only taps 5 targets.
3/5 exploit points - didn't receive enough experience.
Second tactic:
- Still tanking on shaman with renewing Earth Shield. I tested with red gear - 1000 healing 5.6k hp 6.6k mana - and it turned out to be a little alot harder but still doable if you keep killing a totem, putting up a stoneclaw etc.
- Have a mage casting Frost Nova rank 1 every 21 seconds (specced cooldown) to tap (Those who gets hit gets frozen, and the ones who didn't get hit/resisted wont go to you + that you see who got hit and who didn't). When the skeletons spawn they tend to attack any nearby lowbie. So if the mage stand as far from the totems as possible, he shouldn't receive any blows from the skeletons.
5/5 exploit points - Frost Nova rank 1 makes it a reliable exploit + that you don't need an uber geared Shaman for this.
NOTE: Zolo spawns his totems infront of him to the left.
The only problem we had was getting past the trash to Zolo :<
I'm writing this as I am tanking the mobs alt+tabbing to put on a new Earth Shield and thinking of ways to progress in speed/slack.
Progress: The Mage does one spell (Frost Nova rank 1) and the Shaman puts up totems, earth shields and maybe throw a heal from time to time, right? My point is that you could easily make Macros for both the Mage and the Shaman.
Will probably upload a high quality video for you after I've had some sleep.
As my mom told me when I was a child: "leveling without touching the keyboard is the best way of leveling."
Hey: please tell me if you find this helpful or if you got any questions.
