    Steal a divine intervention!

You must be a warrior to do this, I discovered this by accident today during ZA.

Paladin is going to cast DI on Healer.

    1. Intervene Healer.
    2. Your intervene will "eat" the DI and you will get DI'd instead.
    3. ???
    4. Profit!

    Steal a divine intervention!

Pretty neat. I don't see how you could "Profit!" from this, tho.

Just for reference and help, here's the spell info for DI:

    Divine Intervention
    40 yd range
    Instant 1 hr cooldown
    Reagents: Symbol of Divinity
The paladin sacrifices to remove the targeted party member from harms way. Enemies will stop attacking the protected party member, who will be immune to all harmful attacks but cannot take any action for 3 min. (wowhead.com)

If you do this in a raid you will be kicked from raid and / or guild. Usually DI is used when the raid is about to wipe or something. Anyway it is casted on a certain raid member with a reason, not to steal it.
Looking for World of Warcraft and Burning Crusade CD-keys! PM me for info (I can offer web programming services in exchange ).

ThunderSS, thank you but that was totally unneeded. The reasoning behind this doesn't matter for me and is not why I posted the exploit; I posted it merely because it exists and because some people might like to know this.

Also, the people in your raid will just be confused as to why a warrior got a DI, and might say it was the paladins fault.

I agree with thaer, they would blame the pally, unless they check logs or smthg, but still would be pretty hard to figure it out.
Dya know if it also works for like innervate? =)

"Run at high speed towards a party member, intercepting the next melee or ranged attack made against them." which means divine intervention, a friendly (de)buff gets absorbed by the warrior? Common sence >.>? Not really.

I agree with thunderSS. Say you are in a raid. Trash is respawning, so you need to be able to rez everyone AT the boss so you don't have to reclear. Some warrior decides to pull this stunt. If I found out, he would be out of the guild in a second. Waste of a paladin's 60 minute cooldown and everyone's time.

Doesn't intervene it takes a harmful effect to the warrior? And I think DI is befictical...
Well anyways, for greedy warriors who don't want repair bills this is good! :P Just say you didn't know about it, and the intervene was just for saving the healer.
