Nice post, and this is for REAL it actually happened to me as well, I did withdraw 800g (all i had in bank) on my alt to get some stuffs out from action house, was skilling engineering in booty bay (Gnomish).. So after i bought the items on AH with the alt i did send them c.o.d to my other character, And i cant really remember if it was exactly like schfiftyfive said. I had 800g in the guild bank, i relogged to get the skill up, i still needed 1 more skill, so i did the same thing again. But now i had 800g in the bank and backpack. The sad thing is i didn't remember what exactly i did to get the 800 free gold. But i can guaruantee you this works! If they haven't hotfixed it that's it. Maybe you've noticed (if you have acess to guild bank repair) that it sometimes show an incorrect value, If you have 800g it sometimes show like 0g0c0s, or even 1500g. So the guild banks do have some bugs! You just gotta keep on trying

Half a million gold you say? Well, I don't know if you knew, but the gold cap is somewhere around 200-220k. Perhaps if you had more than 5 rep, which is a feat that is so easy to achieve, I would infer that this was indeed working at one point. But no, you're just a lazy leeching lowbie. Also, the fact that this thread has tons of replies, but you still have 1 rep, says a lot to me.

I know there was some method that worked by exploiting the guild bank system pre 2.4. This may be it but it does not work anymore... but yeah the screenshots probably are fake

thank you! it is real! and i wanted to share it with you guys too. I was actually scared other people knew about it so i would check this and other sites everyday to see if anyone was OCD about having money in the guild bank as I was.

I'm just 100 percent positive I'll get banned if I try to dupe. The new account I was using got banned and it didn't even buy anything off the AH.

But it sucks and probably was patched. It was fun while it lasted.

ps. Keep trying, maybe you did something wrong or I didnt explain it correctly. It's pretty complicated. It took me and another person a whole night to figure out what I did after I did it accidentally.

so your saying that you did it with your friend? Every one here has been trying it with one account and two toons... Maybe if you do it on separate accounts it will work (have one account with one toon that has the ability to use the bank and one other account to do the COD) I am having troble at this point right now, trying to think if this is real or not.
Its worth a try, some one that has two accounts try and do it like this.
edit: try having both accounts logged on at the same also, maybe reloging from one character to another messes it up or something
