I ran into this a mob like this one time, I managed to jump onto a part of the rock (mine wasn't a tree like yours) where i could hit the mob and i killed it, and i was able to keep looting it.... you can also drag things up there yourselves and hope that it works, however, like I said this only happened to me once, so it is probably just a really rare bug, but it is worth trying multiple times.

I have killed many of those "bugged" mobs in trees, etc, and I have never once had it let me loot it multiple times.

but i sat there for an hour with auto loot on just right clicking it. i made out with a lot a lot of gold(I think nearing 400g[i didn't have a lot of bag space], (pure vendors) and abunch of greens(de'ed for enchant mats)

NPC Corpses don't stay around that long, and if it was bugged, you would get the same loot over and over again, meaning your bags would fill up with green in about 2 minutes (assuming there was a green on it in the first place), because loot is determined before you even kill it.

This is either made up by O.P., 2nd-hand rumor, or emulated server.

Sorry, I don't like to flame, but too many red flags on this one.

But more to the point, dont "bugged" mobs constantly evade? They do to me, cant even hit them let alone kill them?

How is the OP supposed to post a picture of a bugged mob that he's looted hundreds of times and it has despawned? I don't know what copy of WoW you guys use, but mine doesn't take screenshots of things in the past!

Now, a picture of the tree the mob was bugged in, or even the co-ords - that would be helpful. I for one would head on over there to see if the mob was there on my server.
