Another useful thing you can do with the rats is wail on them if you're a warrior. If you're any class actually you can proc trinkets or abilities from crits off them while guarding. Makes my day.

Sap will last 10 seconds, capturing the flag will take 10 seconds, and if you're standing away from the flag, he won't be able to do both.
