    Nice little sapping trick

I realize alot of teams go Frost Mage and Rogue for 2v2 (I myself prefer a resto shaman), but today I found a trick with sap. If you sap the enemy and let your friend cast something at him and then resap right after he throws it, then your target stays sapped for another free cast. Timing has to be decent and your friend can even throw an instant right after the first cast and you can still resap (As long as its not a DoT) If you can time the sap right.

    Nice little sapping trick

So many things can affect the timing, but it is pretty much commen sense to any 'decent' rogue. But +rep to contributing as there is probably alot that don't know about it.

And when could rogues sap people in combat ?

For all that i know, casting a spell at a target will put it in combat for a couple of seconds.

It might be that im totally wrong, and infact, you can sap people in combat, but last time i played my rogue, was pre-tbc so im not sure.

And this wouldnt be so good, since after all in 2v2, there is another enemy at the other team, that will probably interrupt the mage when he tryes to cast that spell.

It works, but quite hard to pull off, but if you can master it with 100% accuracy, you got some nasty advantage

It does work and it does require some timing, If you do do it in 2v2 with a mage the mage can sheep the second target and hope the other one doesnt get into combat. The rogue has to stay in stealth and sap the target as the mage casts frostbolt you have to sap as soon as u see his FB animation go off and he stays sapped because the damage doesnt cause him to go into combat until the animation hits.

hmm you must need some nice lat or something with the server cuz i tried this out and i just get the "target is in combat" msg; the way we did it was, I zoomed in on the target and as soon as the projectile was about to hit him, i sapped, but no dice.
