I've heard some (not confirmed rumors) that this has something to do with the sunwell, and a raid instance.

Apparently, you can do this just like you do it when setting an instance to heroic if you're attuned with sunwell, but like i said, not confirmed!

theres no attunement for sunwell

As far as I remember that was the term used for heroic dungeons during the TBC alpha.
