Solo Ogri'la Attunement

Hey guys, just found out something interesting about the Ogri'la quest chain when you have to kill the Sons of Gruul. I was waiting in front of Vim'gol looking for a group all morning and nobody would join me. Suddenly a party of 5 flew down and summoned him, and killed him. I asked them if they could do it once more quickly. They flew away without answering me, and i realized that the item that I needed was just laying on the ground like the other Sons of Gruul. I looted it and completed that quest without ever joining a party! Can anyone verify that this works on the first 3 Sons of Gruul too? I was in a 5 man party last night when I did Maggoc, Grulloc and Slaag.

Yes, i'm sure that you can do it with the other bosses, but still. You have to be lucky to find a party that is doing it at the time you want it, so really, it would be better to just join a party to do it. But yeh if you're horde and alliance kill it you can still 'loot' the item, that is of course if they don't gank you before you get it.

I just finished the skulloc quest without a group too. This time an Alliance party did the work for me:

You can even summon the guy for Grimoire Business with members of a different faction, I did all the quests assisting a horde group of 4 as an alliance toon.

Yep, just takes good timing really (items de-spawn after about 1 min so be quick)

Yepp, this is working as intended (I think?). I'm alliance and a horde hunter was going with us all quest chain and completed it. I noticed him loot every chest/item that dropped.

This is kind of common sense... yes, you can loot the items off of ALL the prequests.

hey guys when you kill these demon mobs they drop marks or something and you can tuern them in for rep! exploit!
