Shadow form bug

i dont thinks this is a re-post but if it is just delete it

i accedetly found this bug when i was playing
i drank a noggerfogger elixir and got the skeleton transform
after that i turn the buff off and my shadow form look wierd.
ill explain in three steps

1. Go in to shadow form

2.Buy and drink noggerfogger intill you get the skelton transform

3.Then turn the skeleton buff off and your shadowform will look wierd

I do this myself on my priest toon.

Basically, what the pictures above try and show, is that after exploiting the 'bug' - your shadowform will lose the dark/purple colouring, leaving just the 'steam' kind of effect on your avatar.

The effect will carry on until you leave shadowform, enter a new continent or go through any loading screen. It'll also change the appearance of you and your mount.

This is my method of changing the look:

1) Adopt Shadowform
2) Cast "Dartol's Rod of Transformation" (the furbolg rod) on yourself
3) Your furbolg will have the 'bugged' look and, when you cancel furbolg form or when it runs out, you will keep the bugged effect.

The noggenfogger method and Dartol rod both seem to change the appearance of your avatar. So, I'd imagine any kind of shapeshift buff, Deviate Fish for example, would have the desired effect.

My opinion changes day to day as to which look actually looks better =D - But it's a nice easy exploit nevertheless.

It looks pretty clear to me. Anyway, I don't know if this is a repost or not but I have definitely seen it happen to my friend when we were farming deviate fish inside WC. This means that it also works off of deviate delights as the poster above me said.

Here are some pictures to show the process I use (written 2 posts above)

Here's my little priest waiting for the boat in Booty Bay in Shadowform:



I then cast my Dartol's Rod and I turn into a furry Furbolg, without the purple!



I then cancel my Furbolg form and I'm a normal Dwarf again, but still with the bugged shadowform



And to show the buff changing when you hit a loading screen, here's my Furbolg priest on the boat to Ratchet, still bugged:



But upon arrival, he got his purplez back:




Again, as I already mentioned, you can substitute the furbolg form with any kind of buff that causes you to shapeshift and you'll still get the bugness.
