How I scammed a GM...

Ok so I had been going through Arathi Basin all day to get [Highlanders Cloth Boots], and once i had enough honour and marks I went straight to the vendor in refuge point to buy them.
Stupidly, I bought [Highlanders Cloth Girdle] instead.
Because, obviously, you can't sell pvp rewards back to the vendor and get your marks and honour points back, I opened a GM query to try and get the boots instead.

[Nefilio] : Hey there, (blanked) I was wondering if you had some time to discuss your query about highlanders cloth boots?
To [Nefilio] : Yeah ok
To [Nefilio] : I bought highlanders cloth girdle instead of the boots.. i was wondering if there is anyway i could get the boots instead...
[Nefilio] : I have deleted the belt from your inventory, replaced your spent honour points and sent you 20 Arathi Basin Marks of Honour.
To [Nefilio] : ok thanks =]

The marks arrived instantly, and my honour was replaced. I checked my inventory and there was the [Highlander's Cloth Girdle] (WTF???)
I equipped it and i am flying to Refuge point as i am writing this to buy my boots.

The belt will disappear when you relog.



If you have it in bank though, it will stay. But there is already a thread about that.

This got me an idea anyways, what if you could buy something very expensive for honor when you already are like full epic and have it once "battlemaster stuffs 30k example" that write this ;o might even get that kick ass honor and not done a shit? :OO

So one GM screwed up and incorrectly/forgot to delete an item out of your inventory, and this makes it a scam?

This is hardly something that could be done again. The GM made a simple mistake. Big deal.

I tryed it and the did give back my honor points + my marks
BUT THE ITEM POOFED.
