Wintergarde is a server consisting of four dedicated developers. Our server has been in development since July 2016. Our goal is to guarantee the best experience you ever had on any Wrath of the Lich King private server provided on our unique core which is equipped with peerless functions for our needs.

How do we start?
With the launch of the Wintergarde project we will offer you some features to jump right into Northrend. Granting you for one character following options:

• Instant level 70
• Starter mount
• Well chosen and moderate starter gear
• All the spells required to start your adventure

Note: For your ideal beta testing, please download our launcher and get your starter gear.

The content will be released within a progressive timeline starting from pre-nerf 3.0.2 and step up to 3.3.5a. Just as likely Wrath of the Lich King has been released, you will be able to start your adventure on November the 13th. When we have finished all the developing on the Wrath of the Lich King Content, we will set our focus on classic and the burning crusade content, allowing you to start your journey on lower levels.

Just like with the release of the first iteration of Wintergarde, you will be able to choose your starting point according to your preferred content, enabling you to start at lower levels so you relive the content as it has been.

Wintergarde Launcher
Since we have developed our own launcher, there will be different capabilities for an easy access to our game servers for you:

• Getting your starter pack ready
• Downloading game client
• Automatic realmlist change

Pool-system for ores and herbs
We use a new unique pool-system for our herb and ore spawns. Like on retail servers, this system allows us to dynamically spawn herbs and ores in zones depending on how many players are there.

Scripted events and creatures in northrend
All open world events in northrend (Example: Howling Fjord - Vengeance Landing or Borean Tundra - Valiance keep) are scripted and nearly perfect copied from the retail server. We are also focused on every single creature receives his own spell script, waypoint and general acting like it’s used to. We will require your help to assure a frictionless outdoor gameplay. Please consider that you may encounter usual bugs we already know about, but haven't been fixed yet. We don't want to leave you with bad impressions.

We attach importance to every detail
Is there any NPC missing a weapon? Have you seen a missing creature ? Tell us! We attach importance to every little detail, not only the big ones. We want you to convey you’re not playing on any private servers.

Server performance
Our server hard- and software is very progressive and will be permanently adapted to our needs.
