1.12.1 Lower than the lowest graphics

Does anyone know of a method of getting even lower than the lowest graphics possible even beyond using the developer commands? Perhaps some sort of texture mod that makes everything incredibly low res? I'm trying to get 1.12.1 to run on a very old laptop and it can only manage 5-6 fps which quickly drops to 1-2 fps when it starts to warm up.

I've never heard of anything being capable of that for. 1.12.1 as a mod, add on or anything really. You can get some super cheap laptops off of sale apps that can run it flawlessly.

I have machines and other laptops that can run it fine, I just wanted to see if it were possible as a project. A lot of other old games like HL2 have mods where you can put the resolution unbelievably low so I thought a game as old as vanilla WoW might too.
