    Auth Server Problem

I downloaded fresh files from GitHub the day before yesterday for a 3.3.5 32 bit compile on Windows 7. I have had many issues along the way but I am working through them. I have clean compiles and am working towards bringing up the server.

The Authserver ran properly the first time. However, while I was trying to get the maps files to get the worldserver working properly, I ran into problems with the authserver.

I have started over a number of times but my authserver now has the same issue every time with every attempt.

I am probably missing something simple but I cannot see it.

Now when I try to run authserver it hangs immediately. The cursor is a spinning wheel that never stops. No auth.log is produced. I cannot even end the process within Task Manager. The Worldserver will run and crash but I have information in the logs to follow up on there. With the authserver problem, I have no clues to work with. Searching the web has yielded no similar problem for me to get a lead.

Have others had this problem? I will check for virus issues but I have very little internet contact on the machine I am running on.

I also have issues with map extractors not working at all but that seems to be more a more common item.

Thank you for any suggestions you might have on the authserver issue.

I believe I know what has caused my problem. I was using CMake 3.3.0 and was not getting Boost paths recognized (therefore, manually assigning libraries to each line). Changing to CMake 3.3.2 did recognize the Boost paths and the proper libraries were chosen automatically. I must have chosen the wrong libraries in some cases although the compile was clean, it was not right.

I have started over on the compile and I expect that I will get better results.

    Thank you

you need to specify your boost path using the system variables tab in windows, also make sure you are using the 32 bit versions of everything you download. Refer to this step by step and you will have zero issues Requirements - TrinityCore - TrinityCore Collaboration Platform
