    ArcEmu ACCESS DENIED: 127.0.0.1 DENIED (not an allowed IP)

    Hello.

    I manage to install ArcEmu and all that stuff.

    Logon.exe -> WORKS properly

    When opening : World.exe I get the following error: Server Connection from 127.0.0.1:xxxx DENIED (not an allowed IP). ... etc.

    On (xxxx) there are some random ports like: 5429, 5639, etc. Basically, I respected all tutorial steps from ArcEmu wiki.. I just want to run on local machine, no other ip's involved.

    As as I said.. i set only 127.0.0.1 as default port, nothing special

    Does anny of you guys know why I get this error?

    Thanks.

    In the logonserver config file there is a option for allowed hosts (or similar). The setting in there is blocking connections from your local computer. I don't know what you changed it to - probably on accident. To set your server to allow external connections you only need to change the IP in the realm configuration file, not the logon and world config files.

    Also you shouldn't use ArcEmu - it has not been developed in about 4-5 years now, and even then it wasn't good. TrinityCore is the correct option.

    Hello,

    Thanks a lot for your answer.

    1) In logon file the "allowed ip's" looks like this:
    <LogonServer RemotePassword = "ascent"
    AllowedIPs = "127.0.0.1/24"
    AllowedModIPs = "127.0.0.1/24">
    2) In realm config it looks like this:

    Is there something wrong?

    Regarding TrinityCore, I promise I will use it. But right now if I manage to make ArcEmu to work properly, that's enough for me (test-only reasons), but in the final, if doesn't work I will go on TrinityCore. Thanks for suggestion

    I have no idea in that case, if you are running the logonserver and worldserver on the same machine it should work. *shrug*
