In Search of a Wotlk server

Hi,

I can across this site while googling private servers for wow. I have a few questions that i hope can be answered from this forum. I am currently deployed military and was wondering if there are any Wotlk servers on here for download? Since i am deployed i dont have internet that i can access as my own, i only have govt internet. So if there is a server to get 1) how do i go about getting it and 2) is there a way to set it up to play offline? Any assistance on my current issues would be greatly appreciated. Im sorry if i am asking questions that have been asked at one point or another on this forum site but my internet is very slow and it would take to long to try and load up all the threads.

is a single player repack of WoW made by Conan. After looking around a bit and tweaking some things it works and its awesome! For me personally though it got boring fast.

i was literally just posting that wow haha you beat me. Yes for simplicity the single player project repack mentioned above is best, it walks you through all the steps you need to play the game off line or even with friends. All you need to have is wow 3.3.5a (12340) client installed, the download contains the rest. Please just read the steps carefully, that's the most important bit of advice i can give when it comes to emulators.

now to get the wow 3.3.5a do i just google that as a private server or can i also get that from somewhere on this forum.

another question pertaining to playing offline. I have downloaded therebirth a vanilla server is there a way to change those files to play it offline? i was reading something about changing the realmlist to 127.0.0.1 but that didnt seem to work for me.

you need to have the game client installed also. the server files just tell the client what to do. You need to get a game client based on the version of wow that you want to play. If you want to play vanilla i would recommend 1.12.1, if you want to play the TBC then you want 2.4.3, if you want to play WOTLK 3.3.5. Since you are a total beginner I would recomend against trying to make a Cata or MOP server as they are much more difficult. So inclusion if you would like to play wow on a your own server 1. download client that you want, 2. find a repack for that game client, 3 Read the instructions carefully. 4 read the instructions carefully.

and no we do not have the client as a direct download here you will need to either use a torrent program or google a direct link.
