Mangos Zero Still the Best for 1.12?

Hi guys,

I'm getting back into emulation after a long hiatus. I'm wondering, is Mangos Zero is still the best route for compiling 1.12.1 servers? I read on their site that the Mangos team appears to have divided thus why I'm asking if something else has cropped up.

Yes. You might also wanna check out ProjectSilverpine.
The reality of it is that mangoszero is not good, but the only available choice at this point, because people stopped developing TrinityZero looong ago (it was actually there before mangoszero, but got abandoned).

Thanks for the response, Bone. I actually compiled something called CMangos (for 1.12) - from what I understand the Mangos team split up. I guess I'll see how this goes and look at the alternatives if it's insufficient. If you know anything about how CMangos stacks up, I'd appreciate the input

cMaNGOS is another choice for a classic server (or TBC, WotLK servers; I think there's even repos for Cata and WoD available too.

CMaNGOS seems pretty good in my opinion. Don't really see anything wrong with it or the database (ClassicDB) so far.
