Stuck on success

Ok im trying to host a private 1.12.1 server using AlterWow 1.12.1 mangos repack through hamachi. The goal is to play with a few friends.
The host computer (windows 7) can connect to its server and plays just fine. The second test computer (Lubuntu 12.10 and wine) gets stuck as "success". My server says user "john at ip ('johns' hamachi ip) is authenticated. But nothing after that. Both computers see each other through hamachi. Both are going through the same router (if that makes a difference)

I have set the realmlist to the servers hamachi IP using Heidi SQL, port 3306. I have port forwarded 8085, 3306, 3724 and 7878 for the servers hamachi ip as well as the servers LAN ip for both TCP and UDP types. Windows firewall was disabled for testing.

I have also added ROOT users to my sql using Heidi SQL using the hamachi and LAN IP addresses. (didn't know if that would help the problem, it didn't).

Any ideas?

Re-read the config setup tutorial, this is a common mistake
Haven't edited configs in ages but try this:

LoginDatabaseInfo = "Your IP;3306;root;root;realmd"
WorldDatabaseInfo = "Your IP;3306;root;root;mangos"
CharacterDatabaseInfo = "Your IP;3306;root;root;characters"

Your IP = host comp hamachi ext ip.

I have tried that, and just did again at your suggestion. Mango's gets hung up on the starting portion with the large manos txt art, then crashes. I just opened all the ports Hamachi uses for it's own servers and it still did not work. Any other ideas of why it Is crashing?

Again, I REALLY thank you for your time. I have been trying to figure this out using guides, but finally got stuck to the point I needed more help.
