How do you make a Trinity Core server live (online) ?

I have my ports forwarded and my external ip in the realmslist. I do not mind manually typing in a players user name and password into the world server. But, how do players setup wow on their end, and how do they log onto my server?

Magic.

They have to edit their realmlist.wtf file and set it for your IP. Sometimes if this doesn't work, it means that Trinity isn't listening on the right interface / ip and you have to manually type your IP in a config file. Haven't done this in a while, can't help you any further.
