Help starting up new WoW server

Hi Guys,

I have been playing around with a few repacks and need a little advice on creating my own private server.

1. Before i used to play on funservers that could support 255, is this not the case anymore? as when I change the level limit to 255, on the startup of a Trinity repack it says something in red about it not to really go over 100

2. How long would it take to create a supermall? Does anyone have all of the vendor IDs? like enchanting, gems ect

3. A few years back I used to play on 3.3.5 (WOTLK) is this still the most popular / stable ect? Looking around at the repacks on this site there is still quite a few 3.3.5 packs

I am also looking for people to help start up this server, once I find a stable repack that i can build upon I will most likely be hosting the server on a VPS or from my home connection (100Mbps)

2. Make your own custom vendors, don't think there is any pre-made nowdays.

One more question, isit best to create a Funserver using a stable blizzlike repack (like jeutie) and changing the rates ect in the worldserver.conf file and then adding the Teleporters, custom items ect?

You SHOULD always compile your own core if you are going to host a public server.
And if you are going to make a funserver you'll want to have access to the core to add and edit scripts. A database-only edited funserver will not be very fun

So sit down a few hours and learn how to compile and maby read tru some c++ scripts.
