Custom loading screen help

So I wanted to make a custom loading screen for my server. It just so happened that i found a few guides online. I followed the guides but the loading screen doesn't work!

This is what i did step by step tell me if i did something wrong:

1. open locale.enUS>Glues>LOADINGSCREENS

2. Found the one i wanted

3. Copy treepath (Interface\GLUES\LOADINGSCREENS\LOADSCREENEASTERNKINGDOM.BLP)

4. Made my image the proper size then made it a BLP file

5. Then i went back to my MWS and made a new patch (patch-R.MPQ)

6. I selected my BLP file but before hitting okay it removed the text and put in Interface\GLUES\LOADINGSCREENS\LOADSCREENEASTERNKINGDOM.BLP

7. I put the patch in the data folder but nothing is happening
