Greetings, so my friend and I recently got a host. We have 3 Gigs of Dedicated RAM, and a 3MB/S Upload speed. How many people do you think it can hold? Its TrinityCore with Win7 OS. Thanks, best regards

This thread explains it:
http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/worl...ow-server.html (Average monthly bandwidth usage for a WoW server)
Let's assume a player consumes on average 10 kb/s. Your server can hold 3 * 1024 / 10 = 307 players, probably a little more. Maximum 350 to play it safe.
This is only from the bandwidth point of view.
From the performance point of view, you didn't tell us what processor the computer has, is the server using vmaps, pathfinding?
For 350 players, I am guessing you will need at least 4 gigs of ram, probably even more.
Performance limits you to 150-250.
But that's just my point of view, I'm sure somebody can explain this better.
You can run tests and predict the maximum player capacity based on how much memory your computer is using, the upload speed for the data sent to the players, etc.
