I can help you out! Just answer a few questions. 1: Have you created the databases yet? 2: Have you done the Conf files?
Hey mate, wewt!
Okay I haven't created the DBs yet, although I have a repack with a database that I've used offline and seems okay, would this work? If not then I don't mind making a new one as for the conf files, excuse my noobness, but that's configuration files right? If so, then no.
Thanks!
Yes it would work. You'd need to open up your modems/routers ports and change your configs, then you would be able to have your friends connect. This guide will help you do that: http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/worl...asy-guide.html (Making your MANGOS/Trinity Server Public (EASY GUIDE)). If you have any troubles just reply on this thread and I'll help you out.
Yeah, you need the .conf files, which you can probably just get off a repack, if you get teamviewer I can check out your issue, if not then I can try my best to help.
Yes it is.
Did you self compile this server?
Although looking at your config, you, like myself am with Bigpond. Which modem do you have? Cause if it's one of their ones made my Technicolor, you're screwed. I have one and you have no way of opening ports. Worst modem I have ever owned. Just to get an Open NAT type on CoD I have to disable UPnP, which in turn makes my modem restart itself at any random time.
Is your modem this one? .
Except mine says Telstra and Bigpond down the bottom, not Technicolor.
Try portforwarding.com if you can pay, they have an automated port forwarder , otherwise you should just go hamachi.
Just make multiple networks, and your set.
You'd only need one for the server, I more meant everyone would have to download and install Hamachi to connect to it.
But for 15 people you need to pay if you have one network!
Wow, didn't know that. Stuff that :s Hope that Carnifex (great band btw) didn't get stooged with the modem like I did.
