[SQL] Lootable game_object quest menu

    [SQL] Lootable game_object quest

    Im trying to make a quest similar to The Fare of Lar'korwi - Quest - World of Warcraft (The Fare of Lar'korwi) but I am having problems.
    For the quest, you loot a Dragon Egg (Game Object) then recieve an egg (item) to turn in for the quest.

    I am able to take the quest but the gob doesnt sparkle and is not lootable.


    NOTE: All chests that contain only quest loots need to have flag 4 set as the core will only allow players who have the quest in their questlog to loot them.
    This isnt working for me. I can only loot the item if I change the gob flags column to 0 but this makes the egg lootable even if you dont have the quest.

    The tables I have created are:

    quest_template
    item_template
    gameobject_template
    gameobject_loot_template
    creature_questrelation
    creature_involvedrelation

    Am I missing tables in the database to make the gob lootable and to make it sparkle when you are on the quest?

    Lol.

    The quest works but 2 things I need to change...
    1: I need the game object only lootable by a player with the quest. (If I set the flag to 4 I cant loot the object. Why?)
    2: I need the game object to sparkle when a player is on the quest.


    Ive read through the trinity core wiki on all the sql tables I have created and I cant see where Im failing.

    Make sure you have the flag set to 4, the item id in one of the questitem columns, data5 column the quest_template entry, and an entry in gameobject_questrelation

    You were right.

    In the gameobject_loot_template I changed the ChanceOrQuestChance entry from 100 to -100.

    Definitely something I wont forget next time. Thanks for the help
